Are you skeptical about the role of quantitative measurement in assessing your community-building work, but unsure about alternative approaches? Are you wanting to tap into deeper and more expansive "ways of knowing" what works, but unsure of where to begin (and what this even means)?
In this members-only session designed for both practitioners and funders, we'll hear three rapid presentations from people who've thoughtfully approached the role of measurement on the terms of the communities with which they work:
Savannah Barrett, co-founder of the Kentucky Rural-Urban Exchange
Janice Ikeda, Executive Director of Vibrant Hawaii
Daniel Stid, Senior Fellow at AEI and former director of US Democracy at the Hewlett Foundation
Following the presentations, participants will have the opportunity to self select into interactive breakout groups with presenters to explore how they can apply similar measurement approaches to their own work. Members who want to go deeper following the event will be invited to join a measurement learning group (if interest permits).
